This talented Cameroonian-American jazzman has the merit of raising - in his way - the problem of inequality and injustice to nationality in Cameroon (double only valid for some and prohibited to all others). This could or should win the support and immediate support of all his compatriots, under more democratic heaven.In Cameroon notMachine denigration and slander it is immediately set in motion against him ... And some apologists and sympathizers of Yaounde regime is now struggling to compare it with his illustrious and much-respected elder who has Manu Dibango not him (unfortunately) often managed to keep very good artistic distance from the dictatorship in place in reality in Cameroon for over 50 years.  This obviously has not dented his artistic talent, nor scrambled its international reputation. And much more!


What would happen in our integrated world today? Nobody knows-on accurately. At most can we find that the international artistic recognition and benefits it generates accommodate themselves less with the official support or proximity displayed with dictatorships.

Indeed what was previously allowed the Franco-Cameroonian Manu Dibango will no longer be bound to the US-Cameroonian Richard Bona. The days when renowned artists could attend the dictators and their relatives, to some carelessness, also seems to be behind us. Including Africa and Cameroon.  today fiercely and sometimes virulence dual citizenship goes against the very direct interests of the State of Cameroon, including those of future generations of its citizens. The claim brought by the Jazzman Richard Bona should win the support of all because it is the recognition of a right to dual 
nationality to tou (te) s.
